Oct. 18, 2001--Leading Brands, Inc. LBIX, Canada's largest independent, fully integrated food and beverage brand management company, is pleased to announce that today marks the first use of its revolutionary new technology and fulfillment system for a business to business application.

Quick, Inc., a subsidiary of Leading Brands, delivered its first retail order using its state of the art technology and facilities.
